THE GROWING PROJECT PROMOTES AN ENVIRONMENTALLY AND SOCIALLY JUST LOCAL FOOD SYSTEM THROUGH DIRECT AGRICULTURAL EXPERIENCES, EDUCATION, ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES, AND ADVOCACY.
For over a decade, TGP has empowered people in the food system through increasing food access, building urban gardens around Fort Collins, educating youth, leading horticultural therapy, and fostering community experiences at our farms and gardens. Constantly adapting to the needs of Fort Collins, TGP has evolved over the seasons. Currently, TGP operates a garden commons in Old Town where we promote agency for individuals in the food system through direct agricultural experiences, gardening education, meal-token exchanges, and youth activities.
