THE BURROW: The Growing Project Educational Farm
Our educational farm is located at THE BURROW at 1502 N. Shields, Fort Collins, CO 80524! WE HAVE MOVED! PLEASE DO NOT JUST SHOW UP, email firstname.lastname@example.org
This 1/3 acre farm and community space is dedicated to food production and education. All food grown is donated back into the community! In 2018, we grew over 7,000 lbs. of food for the community!
Activities at the educational garden:
Young Farmers Training Program: The Growing Project provides part-time summer jobs for teens at the educational garden. Not only do teens work on the farm but they also learn about jobs in the local food system through field trips and guest speakers.
Garden Time: The Growing Project works with The Boys and Girls Club and The Family Center/La Familia to provide gardening, cooking, and nutrition education for a-risk and disadvantaged youth at the garden.
Community Meals: The Growing Project hosts 2 weekly community meals every week after our evening volunteer hours. Staff and interns cook up a few big dishes to share with everyone and volunteers and community members can bring dishes to share if they want. The public is welcome to attend these meals but please contact us at email@example.com for more information before showing up.
Workshops: The Growing Project hosts a number of workshops annually on gardening, preserving, foraging, natural building and more. Click HERE for a schedule.
Service Learning/Field Trips: The Growing Project offers opportunities for groups/schools to learn about agriculture and food justice at the educational garden. Have an engaging, hands-on experience while helping out your community! For more information on opportunities please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Volunteer Hours: We always need volunteers during the growing season, please join us for work days. All volunteers must sign a waiver and volunteer application before volunteering. Please contact email@example.com for information or visit our volunteer page HERE.

Where is The Burrow?
WE HAVE MOVED! PLEASE DO NOT JUST SHOW UP, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are located at THE BURROW at 1502 N. Shields, Fort Collins, CO 80524.
We encourage you to ride your bike to our garden! We are located 1/4 mile from the Poudre River Trail!
Purchased in 2016 by the Creaven Family is constantly cluttered, certainly requires some magic to hold it together, and is full of love and support. Residents of The Burrow are Amy, Noah, Amelia, Kieran, Evey (husky), and Moya (Australian Shepherd) Creaven... and the chickens. Amy is an escaped RN who now runs her own business Trust Your Dog Training specializing in Behavioral Problems in dogs and Agility (you'll see the classes in the adjacent field from time to time). Noah is a Medic/Firefighter for Frederick Firestone Fire Protection District. Amelia and Kieran love getting into everything and exploring their worlds. Evey loves food and performing tricks that she still can do. Moya is learning more about her world every day and loves everything about everyone but she can't hold her licker.
