2019 Internship Positions!
Food Justice Internships!  Sustainable and Regenerative Farming Internships! Nutrition Outreach Internships!  Youth Education Internships! Join a true community of friends and community organizers for the 2019 growing season while learning about food production, food justice, social justice, and environmental justice.
Media Internship: The Growing Project is looking for 1 intern to document and compile information about farming, gardening, environmental stewardship, nutrition, and cooking to be distributed online as well as in print at outreach events and farmers markets. Intern will work with staff, board of directors, and community experts to collect information and photos through hands-on educational experiences. Intern will also attend one weekly volunteer shift and intern meeting at The Growing Project Educational Garden.  Full internship position HERE!

Nutrition Outreach Internship, Boys and Girls Club Farmers Market:  The Growing Project is looking for 1 intern to help with nutrition outreach, produce distribution, and garden maintenance at The Boys and Girls Club. Intern will help maintaining the onsite garden.  Intern will run weekly, free farm stand with youth at the Club for parents picking up their kids.  Intern will have the opportunity to do nutrition outreach including handing out recipes and food samples. Intern will also attend weekly intern meeting and Monday volunteer hours.  Full internship position HERE!

Boys and Girls Club Garden Time Internship: The Growing Project is looking for 1-2 interns to help with planning and implementing garden related activities with youth from The Boys and Girls Club. Sessions will either be at The Boys and Girls Club or The Growing Project Educational Farm. Intern will also attend weekly intern meeting and Monday community volunteer hours.  Full internship position HERE!

Nutrition Outreach Food Bank Internship:  The Growing Project is looking for 1 intern to help with outreach at the Food Bank for Larimer County. Intern will host a weekly table/market stand of vegetables and information at Food Bank.  Intern will also attend one weekly volunteer shift and intern meeting at The Growing Project Educational Garden.  Full internship position HERE!

Nutrition Outreach Community Meal Internship:  The Growing Project is looking for 1 intern to help with planning and implementing a weekly community meal with the help of other volunteers and interns.  This includes meal preparation and clean up.  Intern will also attend one weekly volunteer shift and intern meeting at The Growing Project Educational Garden.  Full internship position HERE!

Educational Garden Internship:  The Growing Project is looking for 1 intern to help with biointensive vegetable, herb, and perennial fruit production at the TGP Educational Garden. Intern will become steeped in and assist with all aspects of organic food production from greenhouse management to post-harvest handling of food crops. Intern will be provided with educational materials and training and will be expected to come prepared and ready to learn and work in all types of weather. Intern will also attend one weekly volunteer shift and intern meeting at The Growing Project Educational Garden.  Full internship position HERE!

Flower Production Internship: The Growing Project is looking for 1 intern to help with all aspects of organic flower production at our educational garden site, The Burrow. Intern will assist with the following tasks: greenhouse propagation, field preparation, flower maintenance, harvest and post-harvest handling, marketing and program development, and flower-focused educational programming.  Intern will also attend one weekly volunteer shift and intern meeting at The Growing Project Educational Garden.  ​Full internship position HERE!

Horticultural Therapy Intern: The Growing Project is looking for 1 intern to help a weekly horticultural therapy session with disabled adults at The Growing Project Community Garden at FoCo Cafe. Intern will help with planning sessions and writing curriculum.  Intern will work with our horticultural therapist to plan programming.  Intern will also attend weekly intern meeting and Monday volunteer hours.   ​Full internship position HERE!

StoneCrest Mobile Home Park Garden Internship:   The Growing Project is looking for 1 intern to help with community outreach, garden maintenance, and food distribution at Stonecrest Rentals Mobile Home Park. Intern will assist residents and TGP staff with planning, planting and maintaining the garden.  Intern will also help with outreach strategies including organizing neighborhood events.  Intern will help harvest produce from The Growing Project Educational Garden for distribution at Stonecrest. Intern will also attend one weekly volunteer shift and intern meeting at The Growing Project Educational Garden.  Full internship position HERE!
