TGP is proud to announce its newest volunteer opportunity for the 2012 grow season...the Garden Mentor! 2011 was such an exciting year with all our new gardens. Anticipating our largest expansion yet for the 2012 grow season, we came to realize that taking on more new gardens would create a larger need for the mentorship that garden hosts require.
So today we are calling all experienced gardeners in our community! to see if they would like to collaborate with TGP to be a part of the great birthing process of new gardeners! If you think this may be you, please read our Garden Mentor Information sheet, and if you would like to apply, fill out and submit this online application form at your earliest convenience.
Garden Host
Garden Host positions for the 2012 grow season are currently closed but we strongly encourage those still interested to volunteer at any of our gardens. It is a great way to get a little experience under your belt and an opportunity to ask current hosts about their own experiences with the program. Look for 2013's New Garden Host or Garden Host Renewal Applications starting in November 2012, or if you'd just like to know more about what's involved, please read our UFO Garden Host Information.
